At Yarnton Manor we love to provide accommodation for those in Christian ministry and Christian academics. We can host short-term personal/group ministry retreats, long-term scholar sabbaticals, and other Christian groups who are staying in our accommodation while using the Manor House for meetings and meals, but we can also accommodate ministry leaders on longer sabbatical stays and Christian academics on short-term study breaks.

As our accommodation is in demand we will be increasingly prioritising those whose purposes align closely with our primary charitable mission.

We are unable to offer accommodation to those who are visiting Oxford to attend something run by another organisation.

Christian organisations, institutions, charities and churches are welcome to hire our venue for their events, conferences, staff retreats, church days, filming, and meetings.

As Yarnton Manor is in demand we will be increasingly prioritising those whose purposes align closely with our primary charitable mission.

We are unable to host groups coming for administrative meetings or commercial purposes.

It is outside our charitable remit and mission purposes to host weddings, parties, other special occasion celebrations, and photography.

Yes, but the Lanier Foundation generously keeps hire rates to a minimum as part of its mission to support global Christian endeavours. You will be informed of costs when we reply to your enquiry.

Yes. Children are welcome to stay with their parents in our accommodation.

Being a historical building, the Manor House is not ideally suited to host children. We would not be the right venue for events which involve creches or kids/youth groups.

Your children remain your responsibility for the duration of your time here.
We cannot provide childcare, cots, baby-change facilities, or toys.

The Yarnton Manor grounds and building are pet-free so we are sorry to say that guests cannot bring their dogs with them.

In the Manor House catering can be provided to groups of 4 or more. We have an in-house catering team which can meet your requirements from light refreshments to fancy dinners. We cannot allow self-catering in the Manor House.

All our accommodation is self-catering so unless you have booked venue space and catering in the Manor then your stay will be on a self-catering basis.

Staff can give you more information on options and costings in response to your enquiry.
