Leading Well – Cultivating Wisdom, Integrity and Grace for Leading Diverse Church Communities
reEquip is a monthly opportunity for those in pastoral ministry to connect and be taught / encouraged in their ministry positions.
Join us for our November reEquip day with Steve Smith.
Current events in the UK, such as the Windrush scandal, and far-right and religiously-motivated violence targeted migrants and ethnic minorities, have brought issues of human dignity, justice, as well as questions about human belonging the forefront of national consciousness. In our increasingly polarised and complex society, local churches can struggle to address uncomfortable issues of mutuality, prejudice or injustice without fear, division or doctrinal compromise. In times like these, Christian leadership requires more than just good management. It demands a deeply rooted, biblically-shaped character. How do we build mutual gospel community, work towards a God-honouring future that foster true belonging?
This reEquip day is designed for anyone in a leadership or discipleship role who wants to grow in their capacity to lead like Christ. We will explore a robust, practical framework for leadership built on three essential pillars:
Session 1 – Lead with VISION: Discover how to tackle ministry challenges with God’s wisdom and cast a compelling, biblical vision for a unified church in an increasingly diverse society.
Session 2 –Lead with INTEGRITY: Cultivate the personal integrity that avoids hypocrisy and partiality, enabling you to lead authentically across cultural differences.
Session 3 –Lead with GRACE: Move beyond mere inclusion to actively foster a culture of true gospel belonging, where everyone finds their place in God’s household.
Join us for a day that is both challenging and encouraging, filled with biblical depth, practical tools, and honest conversation to help you lead yourself and others more effectively for God’s glory.

The statistics relating to pastoral ministry burn-out is high. Too high.
For many the life of church or para-church ministry can be stressful, busy and, very often, lonely.
The to-do list can be overwhelming and unending, leaving little to no space for any kind of self-study or growth – often we feel out of our depth. Often we feel like calling it quits.
reEquip seeks to support and encourage those in pastoral ministry. Come and:
(1) receive focused teaching and training that will help us in our ministry life, whether in pastoral skills, practical ministry, bible teaching or areas of theology,
