Academic Seminar – 7th Nov // Prof. Jeff Greenman. – ‘Scripture’s golden thread: The inseparable togetherness of conviction, community and conduct’

Academic seminars focus on early-stage research on questions at the intersection of Christian faith and scholarly enquiry. They are intended to be exploratory, generative for both presenter and participants, and accessible across disciplines.
Seminars run from 2-3pm, On most Fridays during the weeks of the University of Oxford’s full term
You are warmly invited to join us beforehand for community worship at 12.30pm and lunch in the Manor house (1-2pm). 

About the speaker:

Dr. Jeffrey P. Greenman is a theologian and educator who served as President of Regent College in Vancouver from 2015 to 2025. An alumnus of Regent, he holds a Master of Divinity from the college, a PhD in Religious Ethics from the University of Virginia, and a Master of Arts from Oxford. Before his presidency, he held leadership roles at Wheaton College and Tyndale Seminary, and he is the author or editor of several books, including The Pedagogy of Praise and Understanding Jacques Ellul.

Registration is not required to attend the seminar, but is needed if you want to book in for the free lunch.
