Academic Seminar – 21st Nov // Carolyn Hindmarsh – ‘Theological foundations for praying with the Greek New Testament’

Academic seminars focus on early-stage research on questions at the intersection of Christian faith and scholarly enquiry. They are intended to be exploratory, generative for both presenter and participants, and accessible across disciplines.
Seminars run from 2-3pm, On most Fridays during the weeks of the University of Oxford’s full term
You are warmly invited to join us beforehand for community worship at 12.30pm and lunch in the Manor house (1-2pm). 

About the speaker:

Carolyn Hindmarsh is a regular sessional instructor at Regent College, where she is known as a skilled and inspiring teacher. An experienced speaker, retreat director, and spiritual director, Carolyn completed her MTS in Spiritual Theology at Regent and studied Benedictine spirituality in Rome at the Collegio Sant’Anselmo. She has a DMin in spiritual direction from Fuller Seminary. Carolyn and her husband, Bruce, have co-authored a book on prayer, At the Feet of Jesus: A Guide to Encountering Christ in the Gospels (InterVarsity, forthcoming). They have three adult children.

Registration is not required to attend the seminar, but is needed if you want to book in for the free lunch.
