Venue FAQs
Christian organisations, institutions, charities and churches are welcome to hire our venue for their events, conferences, staff retreats, church days, filming, and meetings.
Yarnton Manor is a charitable organization dedicated to scholarship, formation, and reflection. At its heart is the theological library, a resource for the pursuit of wisdom through serious study, thoughtful dialogue, and prayer.
In the Manor House itself we seek to host meetings, lectures, and discussion groups that focus on our mission of equipping pastors, supporting Christian academics, and strengthening faith.
It is outside our charitable remit to host weddings, parties, other special occasion celebrations, and photography.
As a registered UK charity, all of our activities at Yarnton Manor must be aligned with our stated charitable purposes which means that while we are glad to host events and uses that directly further or support those aims, we are unfortunately not in a position to permit the use of the property for weddings.
We kindly ask visitors to help us preserve this historic space and join us in our vision that supports theological study, reflection, and Christian community.
Yes, but the Lanier Foundation generously keeps hire rates to a minimum as part of its mission to support global Christian endeavours. You will be informed of costs when we reply to your enquiry.
Yes, though being a historical building we are not ideally suited to host children. We would not be the right venue for events which involve creches, or kids/youth groups.
Your children remain your responsibility for the duration of your time here.
We cannot provide childcare, cots, baby-change facilities, or toys.
