Library day visitors
Day visitors can book in to use the library.
The Library is open Monday-Fridays, 9am-5pm.
At present, desks are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Scriptorium
We provide structured study on Thursdays during the weeks of the University of Oxford’s full term. (See dates here.) Experience suggests that a daily rhythm often helps the writing flow. We gather for prayers at 9am in the Manor House, with blocks of time for writing, coffee, and lunch together, and then close with prayers at 3.45pm (though some choose to continue studying after this). With desks limited, please book your place by below (a small fee, of £10, covers the cost of food). All welcome.
Sabbatical and research residency
We have accommodation for sabbaticals and other research-focused visits to spend up to an academic year in residence with us.
During residency desks in the library’s scholar room are available for hire for £150/term.
