Our self-catering cottages are available to hire by

Church ministers, Christian academics, and Christian organisations and Churches for:

  • personal or group retreats
  • scholar stays and sabbaticals
  • use with meeting and dining rooms in the Manor House for muli-day meetings and small conferences.

Accommodation FAQs

Our accommodation is for:

  • people in full-time Christian ministry for short-term spiritual retreats.
  • Christian scholars who are visiting Oxford for short-term academic purposes.
  • Christian scholars who are staying on sabbatical/ research leave.
  • Christian organisations, institutions, charities and churches who are using our Manor House venue.

It is outside our charitable remit and mission statement to provide an Airbnb style service for people visiting Oxford and the surrounding area for leisure/business trips.

It is outside our charitable remit to host weddings, parties, other special occasion celebrations, and photography.

Yes, but it is very small as the Lanier Foundation are generously subsidising costs to support the ministries of the people coming. You will be informed of costs when we reply to your enquiry.

Yes, if there is room in the cottage available – though children above infant age somewhat inhibit restful retreats!
Your children remain your responsibility for the duration of your stay.
We cannot provide childcare, cots, baby-change facilities, or toys.

The Yarnton Manor grounds and building are pet-free so we are sorry to say that guests cannot bring their dogs with them.

A guest cottage with bedding and towels, a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, lounge/diner.

A travel cot and high chair can be available upon request. Please note that cot bedding cannot be provided.

Food, toiletries, hairdryers, cot bedding, baby-change facilities, and toys.
