Our beliefs

Yarnton Manor is home to the Lanier Theological Library and Learning Centre in Oxfordshire, UK.
Our mission is simple: to provide a place of support and encouragement for ministry leaders and Christian academics, both locally and globally.
Together we long to strengthen the church, refresh its leaders, and encourage and sustain faithful scholarship—for the glory of God.

We are rooted in place yet global in reach: from our neighbours in Yarnton, Begbroke, and Kidlington, through Oxford and the UK, into Europe and across the world. The world still comes to Oxford, and Oxford still goes to the world—so our heart is for both Neighbourhood and Nations

We are shaped by shared commitments:
Relational: cultivating healthy community and fellowship with short, medium, and long-term residents on site.
Intellectual: renewing the mind through study, knowledge, and wisdom.
Formational: deepening our relationship with Jesus and growing in his likeness together.
Missional: sharing and showing the love of God and the good news of Jesus Christ with those around us.

We, we are constituted around the The Lausanne Covenant

We believe the gospel is God’s good news for the whole world, and we are determined, by his grace, to obey Christ’s commission to proclaim it to all mankind and to make disciples of every nation. We desire, therefore, to affirm our faith and our resolve, and to make public our covenant.
