We are warmly inviting you to join us for a new Greek reading group. Our group offers a relaxed and friendly environment, helping re-equip you to read the Greek New Testament for your personal devotions and in preaching preparation. We will provide you with a free copy of a Greek reader which gives you a concise gloss for all the unusual words, and parsing of all the unusual verb forms. The group will convene at 11am for coffee, and then read from 11.15am for about an hour. It’s a no-judgment environment to help build the muscle memory of reading. (You’re also welcome to come along and not read out loud if you’d prefer.) Each week, we will think briefly at the end of the hour about implications for personal application and for preaching. The group will end promptly at 12.15pm, and participants are all welcome to stay for our community worship at 12.30pm and community lunch afterwards.

Offered most Fridays during Oxford term-time (excluding reEquip Fridays) .

The group will convene at 11am for coffee, then run from 11.15am-12.15pm

You would be most welcome to then join us for community worship at 12.30 followed by community lunch at 1pm.

You could even then follow that up with an afternoon of sermon prep in our library – book a desk via our Library page above.

THIS IS A FREE EVENT (INCLUDING LUNCH) BUT PLEASE BOOK INTO GROUP DATES BELOW
